Responsibilities

The Admin. Coordinator provides administrative support services within the assigned area. He/she will perform administrative functions in support of overall operational objectives, including but not limited to:

  • Operating office equipment (e.g., computers, facsimile machines, copiers, scanners, printers, mailing machines, and phone systems/switchboards)
  • Organizing, collecting, analyzing, and presenting statistical information related to organizational requirements and objectives
  • Categorizes and files documents in appropriate files
  • Types, edits, and distributes a wide variety of correspondence under established guidelines and procedures
  • Maintains and processes paperwork, instructions, notices, letters, evaluations, etc. related to organizational business.

Requirements

Performs administrative support/secretarial assignments, to include:

  • Operating office equipment (e.g., computers, facsimile machines, copiers, scanners, printers, mailing machines, and phone systems/switchboards)
  • Organizing, collecting, analyzing, and presenting statistical information related to organizational requirements and objectives
  • Categorizes and files documents in appropriate files
  • Types, edits, and distributes a wide variety of correspondence under established guidelines and procedures
  • Maintains and processes paperwork, instructions, notices, letters, evaluations, etc. related to organizational business.

Affords assistance with functions and responsibilities of the department as needed to achieve cooperation and teamwork through effective communication and positive public relations with patients, staff, and the public. Helps coordinate numerous and ongoing special projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Education/Training/Experience: 1 years’ experience administrative, secretarial, sales, or marketing.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Community Outreach is a must.
  • Education: Some college preferred. Bachelor’s in Marketing, communications, or media preferred.
