Administrative Coordinator
Job Summary
The Administrative Coordinator position will coordinate and support the Office of the Chair of the Department of OBGYN, including but not limited to telephone, mail, email, Department Chairs calendar, coordinating speakers for Grand Rounds and special projects involving the physician faculty who serve in the OBGYN departments of University, Community, and Crouse Hospitals. Incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating and scheduling various department meetings in addition to taking and distributing meeting minutes as needed. This position will maintain all faculty personnel files and coordinate appointment, re-appointment, hospital privileging, and faculty promotions. The Administrative Assistant will support the Practice Administrator with department accounting tasks such as accounts payable coding, bank deposits, budget preparation, grant proposals/requests, and financial reporting or other administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the Office of the Chair of the Department of OBGYN
- Support the Practice Administrator with department accounting tasks
- Maintain all faculty personnel files and coordinate appointment, re-appointment, hospital privileging, and faculty promotions
- Take and distribute meeting minutes as needed
- Support the Practice Administrator with department accounting tasks such as accounts payable coding, bank deposits, budget preparation, grant proposals/requests, and financial reporting or other administrative functions
- Represent the Department Chair and Practice Administrator via contacts with many individuals from within the University campus, as well as the community at large
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field and 2 years related experience
- Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience using and maintaining various computer applications
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competency in appropriate computer software applications
- Good organizational skills

G6: $25.75 - $40.62

Variable between 7 am and 5 pm
