Administrative Coordinator
About the role
Provides daily support in the execution of an assigned program, section, or special interest group and implements procedures, processes, services, and systems to support program workflow.
Evaluates and monitors projects, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and advises staff on program policies.
Creates program communications, coordinates data and manages program databases, and assists in developing program evaluations.
Med-Pediatrics Research Administration equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
Responsibilities
- Supports program workflow
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish program objectives
- Evaluates and monitors projects according to policies and objectives
- Advises staff regarding program policies
- Creates and disseminates program communications
- Prepares routine reports, program resources, presentations, and publicity materials
- Affords assistance in the development of program evaluation tools and methods
- Recommends modifications to improve program effectiveness
- Collaborates in the coordination of the collection and analysis of data
- Manages program databases
Requirements
This position is located at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Lawrenceville.
PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required prior to the start of employment.
A current TB test will be required as a condition of employment.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Level Required: Associate's Degree
Minimum Years of Experience Required: 3
Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement.
