About the Role

Delta is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trusted business partner to support the Vice President, Supply Chain. In this role, you will provide advanced administrative support, manage sensitive and confidential information, and partner closely with leaders across the organization. Success requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and a comprehensive understanding of Delta's programs, policies, and operating practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple high-level projects with sophisticated multitasking and deadline-driven skills.
  • Organize and support an office of diverse people and programs, handling administrative challenges with agility.
  • Perform filing, documenting, database work, and prepare invoices, reports, decks, memos, letters, and other documents using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Lead and maintain multiple schedules, meetings, and handle a high volume of travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Greet visitors, receive telephone calls, interact with Delta leaders and their staff, and address travel and ticket issues.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine and complex inquiries.
  • Foster team cohesion by interacting with office staff at all levels.
  • Pivot between different projects with ease, demonstrating proactivity and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Utilize expert-level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; 2 years of formal training may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and proficiency in Windows-based applications like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments and work closely with administrative assistants in other areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to direct the activities of others.
  • High level of confidentiality and detail skills to ensure accuracy, grammatical correctness, and timely completion of work.
  • Ability to coordinate schedules and projects involving separate staff members or vendors.
  • Organizational and leadership skills to develop office procedures, prioritize and schedule work, and balance multiple assignments with limited direction.
  • Knowledge of corporate business processes and procedures such as expense reporting, purchasing, and departmental budget.
  • Commitment to embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Consistent prioritization of safety and security for self and others.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge of Delta travel platforms including Delta.com, TravelNet, and/or Delta Term.
