About the role
Administrative Assistant Alabama Power seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Plant.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to all departments.
- Perform timekeeping and attendance reports.
- Process employee expense reports for covered and non-covered personnel using Oracle.
- Process expense reports for Materials.
- Manage filing systems and order office supplies.
- Cook up travel arrangements.
- Cook up data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Maintain departmental record retention.
- Serve as contact for vendor regarding copier/printer repairs.
- Update Arcos to reflect vacation, time off, and call-out list weekly; prepare and distribute quarterly and yearly reports.
- Serve as FMLA contact time groups.
- Verify contractor timesheets using Tableau and verify backup documentation.
- Deliver superior customer service to all internal and external customers.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in administrative support, including conference, travel, meeting arrangements, report preparation, and calendar management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle timekeeping systems preferred.
- Must successfully pass the SHL/SkillCheck Assessments.
