Administrative Assistant (Onsite at Coronado, CA Branch)
About the role
The Administrative Assistant supports the Mortgage Branch Manager in the daily operations of the mortgage branch. Key responsibilities include answering and screening calls, scheduling appointments, managing mail, performing general clerical duties, coordinating meetings, and conducting research.
Responsibilities
- Answers and screens telephone calls professionally and promptly
- Takes accurate messages with high professionalism and courtesy
- Schedules conference calls and appointments
- Reviews and responds to daily internal and external mail
- Prioritizes mail and responds based on urgency
- Demonstrates professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive issues
- Performs general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing
- Composes and distributes professional correspondence and memoranda
- Captures and types statistical reports as needed
- Coordinates meetings by preparing and distributing agendas, materials, and recording meeting minutes
- Coordinates travel arrangements and processes expense reports and invoices
- Conducts research and compiles data as required
- Attends meetings and other functions as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent
- Three (3) or more years of related experience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Versatility and flexibility within an ever-changing environment
- Acute attention to detail
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance

Benefits
Base compensation for this position ranges between $24.00 and $27.00 per hour. Factors that may affect base wages include previous experience as an administrative support.
