Essential Functions And Competencies
- Greet family members and friends
- Receive and process payments and/or contracts
- Order supplies, file documents, and respond to inquiries
- Maintain and verify the accuracy of logs associated with markers, interments, and/or cremations
- Prepare and distribute daily interment reports
- Coordinate the ordering of memorials and related products
- Control storage inventory for vaults and markers
- Process installation orders to grounds and maintenance departments
- Enter contracts and cash receipts in HMIS
- Assist Sales, Community or Family Service Counselors
- Assist location management with daily operations, including SOX compliance, delivery process, and liability release
- Conduct blind checks
- Monitor and follow up on marker orders; track memorial orders
- Act as backup to Receptionist
Required Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two (2) years of administrative support experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of funeral home, cemetery, and crematory operations
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in using office equipment and software
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
