The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, and systems-minded individual who understands the importance of compliance with deadlines and is comfortable handling large volumes of sensitive data. This role supports the regulatory licensing efforts and broader people compliance operations at Socure.
About the role
- Support preparation and submission of regulatory and licensing filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Track application status, renewal deadlines, and ongoing compliance requirements
- Maintain and organize electronic records, including licenses, correspondence, and regulatory documentation
- Partner cross-functionally to collect and validate information required for filings
- Interface with regulators and external partners as needed to support application processes
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and internal systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of compliance workflows
- Aid in process improvement and documentation to streamline filing and tracking workflows
Responsibilities
- Gaming and Regulatory Licensing Support
- Support preparation and submission of regulatory and licensing filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Track application status, renewal deadlines, and ongoing compliance requirements
- Maintain and organize electronic records, including licenses, correspondence, and regulatory documentation
- Partner cross-functionally to collect and validate information required for filings
- Interface with regulators and external partners as needed to support application processes
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and internal systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of compliance workflows
- Aid in process improvement and documentation to streamline filing and tracking workflows
- People Compliance & Operational Support
- Track and report on employee compliance training completion, including monitoring deadlines and following up with stakeholders
- Maintain documentation and records related to internal compliance programs and employee acknowledgments
- Serve as a point of contact for collaboration space usage, ensuring a smooth employee experience
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of East Coast collaboration spaces, partnering with Workplace teams as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, legal, or compliance support role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
- High attention to detail, particularly in document review and data entry
- Experience working with sensitive or confidential information
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executives, with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and follow-through
- A self-starter with sound judgment, high integrity, and a collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting regulatory, licensing, or compliance functions (gaming, fintech, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with multi-state licensing processes
- Legal Assistant or Paralegal certification (nice to have, not required)
