About the role

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, systems-minded operator who understands the importance of complying with deadlines and is comfortable working with large volumes of sensitive data, leveraging technology (including AI tools), and improving processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation and submission of regulatory and licensing filings across multiple jurisdictions
  • Track application status, renewal deadlines, and ongoing compliance requirements
  • Maintain and organize electronic records, including licenses, correspondence, and regulatory documentation
  • Partner cross-functionally (Legal, Compliance, Finance, People, and Executive Teams, as well as Socure’s board of directors) to collect and validate information required for filings
  • Interface with regulators and external partners as needed to support application processes
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and internal systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of compliance workflows
  • Aid in process improvement and documentation to streamline filing and tracking workflows

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, legal, or compliance support role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • High attention to detail, particularly in document review and data entry
  • Experience working with sensitive or confidential information
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), comfort utilizing AI tools and learning new tools quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executives, with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and follow-through
  • A self-starter with sound judgment, high integrity, and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting regulatory, licensing, or compliance functions (gaming, fintech, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with multi-state licensing processes
  • Legal Assistant or Paralegal certification (nice to have, not required)
