This is a 9.5-month, 6-hour-per-day, non-exempt position located at South High School.
Responsibilities
- Answers telephone calls for the purpose of screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.
- Assists employees with the design, printing and production requirements for duplicating jobs (e.g. layout, printing format, costs, schedule, etc.) for the purpose of meeting requester's needs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Assists with processing of documents, forms, mailings and materials (e.g. copying, laminating, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties.
- Attends department and/or in-service meetings for the purpose of gathering information required to perform functions.
- Distributes materials (e.g. mail, checks, supplies, messages, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring delivery to addressee.
- Inspects completed jobs for the purpose of ensuring conformance to work specifications, copywrite and trademark policies, quality standards, and quantity requirements.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and materials (e.g. forms, office supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring items' availability.
- Maintains manual and electronic documents, files, and records (e.g. letters, forms, reports, etc.) for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and/or historical reference in accordance with established administrative guidelines and legal requirements.
- Prepares standardized documents (e.g. form letters and memos, calendars, bulletins, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information to other parties.
- Prints a wide variety of forms, catalogs, and documents (e.g. multicolored reports, announcements, forms, letterhead, fliers, pamphlets, etc.) for the purpose of providing materials needed by school personnel for instruction, conferences, special events, and meetings.
- Responds to inquiries from employees and vendors for the purpose of providing general information, status of orders, and/or direction.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Job-related experience is desired.
- Criminal Background Check required.

Pay
Starting pay: $17.38 per hour (and up, depending on verifiable experience).
