ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - HOURLY (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Schedule
Full-time and part-time positions available; days and hours may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.
Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year-round, potentially at a different location during break periods. Business needs may vary from year to year.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client-centric manner.
- Maintain confidential personnel files.
- Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents, including but not limited to proposed disciplinary notices.
- Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
- Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, students' parents, and Supervisor.
- Complete and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students eligible for free and reduced-priced lunches if applicable.
- Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using a computer.
- Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
- Process vendor invoices for payment using a computer, ensuring addition is correct and checking item prices against bid specifications to confirm no discrepancy in pricing.
- Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
- Assist in preparation of end-of-month financial reports.
- Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Marketing experience is preferred.
