Administrative Assistant- Healthcare

About the role
This role involves performing administrative functions in support of consultants who work on projects related to healthcare reform and regulation, as well as more general healthcare consulting engagements.
Responsibilities
- Extensive calendar management and scheduling of meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, and events.
- Overseeing entry and coding of time.
- Reconciling monthly billing statements and tracking to budget.
- Preparing and formatting documents in Word.
- Management and tracking of expense reimbursements.
- Providing back-up support to other administrative assistants when needed.
- Ad hoc projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous experience supporting multiple professionals, including the ability to keep team members on track with processes, policies, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, friendly, and positive "can-do" attitude.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize activities while working under pressure to meet client deadlines.
- Creative and independent thinker, but confident asking questions to complete tasks efficiently.
- Extensive contact with others (including clients) requiring discretion and professionalism.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and interest in taking ownership of work while enjoying team collaboration.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to assist in graphically displaying project and legal findings in PowerPoint (e.g., transferring memos into polished presentations).
- Comfortable learning new software programs that support business operations; experience with legal billing software is a plus.
- Interest in the healthcare field highly preferred.
- BA Degree highly preferred.
Pay
The base annual pay range for this role is between $63,000 and $69,000. The base pay offered will vary depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
