About the role
The Administrative Assistant / Dispatcher is responsible for providing dispatch support, creating various documents using Microsoft Office software, preparing invoices, following up with clients, conducting accounts receivable, performing general office duties, researching information requests, assisting with developing, updating, and reviewing local operating procedures and work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Provide dispatch support.
- Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software.
- Prepare invoices, follow up with clients and conduct accounts receivable.
- Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
- Research a wide variety of information requests.
- May assist with developing, updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/or work instructions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant
- Ability to work onsite Monday - Friday beginning at 8:00 am
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
- Must be detail oriented
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Dispatcher experience
- Experience as an administrative assistant in the Construction Materials Testing industry
