About the role
Trainity Health At Home is seeking a Customer Service Representative and a Customer Service Representative/Administrative Assistant. Both positions are hybrid roles, requiring 2 days per week at an office in Hartford, Connecticut for Trinity Health of New England and 3 days remotely.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls in a courteous manner, identifying callers' needs, and transferring them to the appropriate parties.
- Log calls into the telephone log.
- Know and incorporate Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
- Use the telephone etiquette script to answer each call.
- Answer the phone in a professional manner using a compassionate tone by the third ring.
- Trisnigate phone calls appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Identify the caller's needs and meet or exceed caller's expectations.
- Transfer calls to the appropriate parties to further meet callers' needs.
- Determine availability of the receiving party and identify the appropriate course of action if the receiving party is unavailable.
- Report all issues or problems with the telephone system to manager or others as directed.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Health care or home care experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Displays optimal critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations preferred.
- Working knowledge of managed care environment preferred.
- Experience multitasking on multiple computer systems.
- Epic experience a plus.
