About the role
The Connections Administrative Assistant supports the visitor and new member connection process at the Elizabethtown campus. They assist the Connections team, manage the onboarding process for new members, and serve as the first point of contact for guests, visitors, and community members.
Responsibilities
- Work with ministries to provide necessary support for visitor and new member connections.
- Manage the onboarding process for new members, including paperwork, recognition, reporting, and running reports.
- Help develop relationships with volunteers and break down barriers for their engagement in serving.
- Aid in communication, organization, and implementation of meetings and events with volunteer teams.
- Help maintain the social media strategy and create promotional material and graphics.
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests, visitors, and community members, offering a warm and welcoming experience.
- Manage the main church phone line, answering general questions and transferring calls.
- Handle deliveries and vendor interactions, fostering positive relationships.
- Oversee the budget and inventory for general office supplies, ensuring availability.
- Relocate the primary workstation to the front desk area, organizing and utilizing the window space and bookcase.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative work or customer service preferred.
- Technical support and design skills.
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.

- Lives out staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship, and giving.
- Agrees with the Statement of Faith and submits to the church's leadership.
