Administrative Assistant/Collateral Duty Clerk
About the role

This position supports the 63d Readiness Division (RD) G4 East Region, United States (U.S.) Department of War (DOW) mission readiness requirements.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative support including filing, phone coverage, scheduling, travel arrangements, and office correspondence.
- Manage and maintain personnel records, payroll, and office budgeting in support of executive staff and operational units.
- Serve as Collateral Duty Clerk for Hazardous Material Management Program (HAZMAT), ensuring proper control, storage, transport, and reporting of hazardous materials in accordance with DA PAM 710-1, 49 CFR Part 172, DOD 4500.9R, and AFMAN 24-204(1).
- Support Environmental Protection and Enhancement Program compliance by tracking environmental documentation, reporting, and ensuring alignment with AR 200-1.
- Aid in execution of safety and occupational health programs, including AR 385-10 and DA PAM 385-1, and monitor compliance with Safety of Use Messages (SOUM, AR 750-6).
- Support technical and maintenance-related programs such as TMDE (AR 750-43), Corrosion Prevention and Control (AR 750-59), Depot Overhaul (USARC Reg 750-1), Army Warranty (AR 700-139), and AOAP (AR 750-43) by tracking documentation, scheduling training, and reporting compliance.
- Develop and prepare briefing charts, presentations, and reports to support management decisions, training, and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- HAZMAT (AMMO-62) certification (required to manage, track, and certify hazardous materials transport and compliance).
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a military or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of Army regulations, safety programs, environmental compliance, and maintenance support procedures relevant to AMSA and ECS operations.
- Proficiency in office software (MS Office Suite) and document management systems for reporting, scheduling, and presentations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to ensure accurate reporting, scheduling, and compliance tracking.
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain installation access, background checks, and Common Access Card (CAC) in accordance with contract requirements.
