What You’ll Get To Do
- Comply with established policies and procedures
- Handle telephone calls professionally and promptly
- Ensure resident selection and orientation follows HUD Manual and Community Realty Management Occupancy Manual
- Maintain and organize resident files according to CRM Residential Occupancy Manual
- Aid in leasing of vacant apartments
- Ensure all certifications and recertifications follow HUD Manual
- Maintain the waiting list according to HUD Manual and ensure applications are processed in a timely manner
- Maintain EIV and TRACS according to HUD protocol
- Write and process work orders for maintenance department
- Aid in paperwork for new move-ins, move-outs, recertifications, and other HUD required paperwork
- Collect rent and other payments and prepare for deposit
- Prepare computer reports and file accordingly
- Aid residents with local social services and other related agencies
- Aid Community Manager in court when required
- Aid Community Manager with newsletters and other marketing material
- Contribute to resident satisfaction and property goals
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant required
- Previous experience in property management is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular)
- Ability to work with a variety of people and make them feel comfortable quickly
- Must be able to multi-task
- Ability to work any scheduled hours as well as additional hours needed to complete the job
- Effective oral and written communication skills required
- Strong customer service skills required
- Strong organizational and time management skills required
