About the role
Performs high-level secretarial duties in an efficient and effective manner, in accordance with departmental objectives, assuring optimal secretarial services are provided to the highest level of productivity. Their activities contribute significantly to the smooth running of the overall department.
Responsibilities
- Displays a teamwork approach, considering the impact of his/her actions and behaviors on others.
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
- Expresses oneself effectively both through verbal and written form.
- Follows up and documents key areas of concern.
- Organizes effectively with excellent time management.
- Aids in special projects and reports, assists with calendar management and scheduling, prepares for and reports on meetings, tracks and assists with follow-up with stakeholders as needed to ensure timely completion of projects, contracts, correspondence, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED.
- Current California driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Typing and computer skills.
- Three years progressively responsible secretarial experience required, with one year of experience in an administrative office.
