About the role

The Administrative Assistant - LTC will provide administrative support to our nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Answering Phones and Switchboards: Respond to incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member or department.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Coordinate schedules and appointments for patients, physicians, and staff.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter patient information, medical records, and other data into our electronic health records system.
  • Preparing Reports and Documents: Compile and prepare reports, forms, and other documents as necessary.
  • Maintaining Office Supplies: Order and maintain office supplies to ensure a smooth-running administrative office.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff members.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with care.
Develop and implement effective administrative processes and procedures.
Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements
