Job Duties
- Works independently on a PC when using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Performs recordkeeping in manual, PDF, and electronic database formats.
- Communicates with email, texting, Instant Messaging, and other social media.
- Phone etiquette that includes noting information, taking messages, scheduling return calls, forwarding calls, and any other task related to the phone.
- Works with other employees in the area, working on different tasks.
- Reads and understands typical communications, including transaction tickets, emails, invoices, DMV paperwork, environmental government agency documentation, safety documentation, and business permits.
- Maintains scheduling and event calendars.
- Completes forms in accordance with company procedures.
- Schedules and confirms appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors.
- Cleans up work area at the end of shift.
- Keeps work areas neat and orderly.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential job functions.
- Maintain organizing materials to have more effective use of space.
- Dispose of various waste materials in the appropriate manner.
- Inspection to ensure cleanup is completed.
- Effective housekeeping in workplace area is an ongoing operation for safety and better hygienic conditions for all team members.
Qualifications
- Prior to April 2014, employees are presumed to be qualified and are "grandfathered" into their positions.
- Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable.
- Some college, one year or more preferred.
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus.
- Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands.
- A basic understanding of MS Office products.
