About the role
We are looking for a Member Services Coordinator/Administrative assistant to support member-facing operations and deliver responsive, detail-oriented service from our Franklin, Massachusetts office. This position focuses on keeping records accurate, communicating program and group information clearly, and helping members navigate day-to-day requests. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage data and documentation with care.
Responsibilities
- Guide new members through the onboarding process, helping them get established quickly and accurately within the organization.
- Update and organize website materials, member-facing documents, and communications received from internal teams and external sources.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of member interactions, ensuring all communications are documented and accessible.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of member services and information.
- Respond to member inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful responses.
- Support the development and implementation of member programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of member newsletters, updates, and other communications as needed.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in member services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Communications, or a related field).
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a membership or nonprofit setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
