About the role
The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the Management Team while also taking on specific duties related to quality control and engineering documentation.
Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule meetings for administrators and engineering teams.
- Greet office visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Compose, prepare, and review documents, reports, and engineering drawings.
- Manage calendars, sort mail, and process quality control documentation.
- Handle project documentation, correspondence, and maintain engineering records.
- Perform data entry for reports, engineering/design items, and quality checks.
- Cook up reproduction of engineering drawings and enter data into the ERP system.
- Reconcile labels, inserts, and boxes according to regulatory compliance.
- Aid multiple departments by providing clerical support and general office coordination.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in managing databases, filing systems, and ERP systems.
- Competency in creating correspondence, reports, and maintaining detailed records.
- Knowledge of quality control practices and engineering documentation processes.
- Ability to operate office machines, such as scanners and plotters.
- Proficient in MS Office and other office productivity software.
- An attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Job Specifications
- A 2-year Associate’s degree in Business or similar field.
- Experience with working to a Quality Assurance program, e.g. ASME NQA-1, ISO-9001.
- A general knowledge of assembly shop & manufacturing activities/environment.
