Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls and patient messages efficiently
- Handle patient registration and verify insurance information
- Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Maintain provider schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Sort and distribute incoming faxes and documents appropriately
- Absorb and respond to patient requests and concerns
- Assist patients with FMLA and disability paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organized front office space
- Provide exceptional service and support to patients and visitors
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a medical front office setting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude
- Familiarity with EPIC and Microsoft Office (a plus)
- Customer service oriented with a commitment to patient care
- Knowledge of insurance verification, benefits coordination, and the insurance authorization process
Pay
Min USD $21.98/Hr. Max USD $36.27/Hr.
