Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
- Planning, procurement & sourcing engineering supplies
- Aid in processing express and overnight courier packs
- Shipping & Receiving engineering materials
- Inventory, order, organize and distribute office supplies
- Operate and maintain office equipment as needed
- Provide and track facility work order requests
- Administrative office project tracking
- Create, maintain, and enter information into databases
- Keep break areas, lunchroom, copy areas, and conference rooms neat & orderly
- Manage janitorial crew and/or subcontractors
- Prepare offices and workstations for new hires
- Backup the Receptionist, greet visitors, handle incoming calls and other communications
- Coordinate furniture moves in the office and lab areas
- Set-up and clean-up after large meetings
- Work independently and communicate with all levels of management
- Work with landlord or building manager to address unforeseen issues
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business administration, secretarial science, communications, or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Excellent computer skills including a mastery of tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Paint as well as Zoom collaboration tools
- Additional computer skills such as Photoshop, SAP, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Airtable, and AI tools such as ChatGPT are a huge plus
- Unparalleled interpersonal and organizational skills
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage assignments from multiple managers with tight and competing deadlines
- Basic understanding of engineering vocabulary and jargon a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Pay
The Hourly Range for this position is $21– $47 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
