The Administrative Assistant will handle routine and daily work for the Property Management office under general supervision. Duties include:

  1. Phone support
  2. Drafting and distributing correspondence
  3. Expense reporting
  4. Scheduling and coordinating meetings
  5. Filing and copying
  6. Processing incoming system work orders
  7. Maintaining property, tenant, and vendor contact listings
  8. Maintaining service contracts, tenant leases, and insurance certificates
  9. Initiating rent collection correspondence with tenants
  10. Auxiliary tasks such as assisting with tenant newsletters, events, and appreciation packages
  11. Inputting invoices into the accounting system and forwarding originals to the Accounting department for payment
  12. Maintaining property and administrative files
  13. Preparing various documents as directed

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years of office administration experience required
  • Background in property management preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Write routine reports and correspondence
  • Respond to inquiries and complaints
  • Present information to groups
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Basic analytical and mathematical skills

This position is 100% in-office. Standard business hours apply. No remote work or telecommuting is available.
