Position Summary

In this position, you will provide comprehensive administrative, translation, and interpretation support to technical teams, enabling them to achieve their organizational objectives. The role involves coordinating daily operations, managing technical documentation, supporting international communications, and assisting cross-functional teams in a global working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to technical departments
  • Arrange travel, meetings, and appointments for internal and external stakeholders
  • Receive visitors, handle and screen telephone calls, and take notes during meetings as required
  • Translate and assist in the preparation of technical documents and procedures
  • Interpret during meetings and business discussions between international parties
  • Support third-party testing administration, including purchase orders, shipping, and invoicing
  • Maintain office records, files, and inventory of supplies
  • Establish and maintain a technical library of specifications, standards, procedures, and related documents
  • Aid Japanese staff with acclimatization during overseas assignments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Full professional proficiency in Japanese and English (written and spoken)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality

Pay

SALARY
Hourly Rate: USD 25–USD 30 per hour
