Administrative Assistant
About The Role
Manage front office operations, including screening and directing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and providing professional customer service.
Coordinate and maintain office supplies by ordering, organizing, and tracking inventory to ensure efficient daily operations.
Handle administrative support functions, including filing, managing correspondence, sorting and distributing mail, and maintaining organized records.
Prepare meeting rooms and materials, ensuring supplies, equipment, and locations are properly set up for meetings and team events.
Perform various errands and provide administrative assistance to staff members across departments as needed.
Cook up the ordering of plants and materials for restoration projects, ensuring timely procurement and delivery.
Conduct client follow-up communications after project completion to maintain positive relationships and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
Monitor and maintain company business licenses, certifications, and qualifications to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Serve as a flexible resource for the team by managing a wide range of administrative and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with the development and maintenance of the company's social media presence by creating, scheduling, and monitoring content and engagement.
Provide general operational support to leadership and team members, contributing to overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience in a construction, manufacturing, environmental, engineering, or similar work environment.
- Experience working with MS Office.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through skills, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and brought to closure.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Strong ability to work independently while effectively managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to deal with a variety of personalities.
Schedule
100% on site in Odenton, MD. Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week, 9am-5pm
Pay
$40,000-$45,000
