Responsibilities

- Perform administrative and business office services tasks as assigned by the Community Business Director.
- Afford assistance with accounts receivable function, including maintaining resident data in systems and files, inputting ancillary charges, generating monthly billing statements, reviewing aging reports, and supporting collection efforts.
- Afford assistance with accounts payable, including coding of invoices, data entry into systems, making copies, and filing of vendor files.
- Afford assistance with payroll functions, such as running daily punch reports, correcting missed punches, supporting pay period end functions, and filing; train staff on proper time clock procedures.
- Afford assistance with human resource functions, including new hire orientation, enrollment and plan changes, maintaining personnel files (with controlled access), tracking FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, and other programs as assigned.
- Afford assistance with month end close procedures, collecting month end accruals from department heads, assisting with account research as necessary.
- Manage and order community office supplies as needed.
- Drive company vehicle from community to social and other various destinations (only if required by community).
- Schedule tours, complete phone inquiries, conduct tours as needed, and support sales efforts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office and ability to navigate the internet.
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
Qualifications
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Able to write simple correspondence.
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
