Job Description

Ares Management is seeking a Receptionist-front desk support to staff, clients and vendors in our New York office and in addition to providing administrative support to investment professionals.

Primary Functions And Essential Responsibilities

  • Open and close reception front desk (8:30AM – 5:30PM)

  • Act as a "go to" point of contact for clients and guests

  • Answer incoming calls and routing them to the appropriate parties

  • Answer emails regarding facilities and needs of the office

  • Monitoring front reception area

  • Reserving visitor offices and overseeing communal office and meeting spaces

  • Reserve conference rooms and coordinate with external catering companies to provide catering for meetings

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience in a receptionist and administrative role, preferably in a corporate environment

  • General Requirements: Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Excellent telephone etiquette, Professional demeanor and appearance, Ability to provide exemplary service to clients and co-workers, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Well-organized, with strong attention to detail, Ability to prioritize work and handling multiple tasks simultaneously, Flexibility in terms of accepting process changes, variable work volume and new ideas, A team player with the ability to work with diverse personalities, Knowledge with Concur a plus

Reporting Relationships

The anticipated rate for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. $65,000 - $75,000
