ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains confidentiality and familiarity with Tribunal procedures.
- Merges data and issues “letters of change.”
- Data entry, filing, and closing out Tribunal cases.
- Reviews, assesses, and instructs cases.
- Prepares and prints letters and decrees.
- Processes sanctions and dispensations.
- Notarizes judicial acts.
- Communicates with petitioners, respondents, and witnesses.
- Maintains timely and correct data entry, file management, and correspondence.
- Affords assistance to the Court of Second Instance.
- Attends and participates in regular Tribunal meetings and discussions.
- Participates in canonical meetings for continuing education.
- Assists with preparation and coordination of Tribunal-sponsored events and trainings.

Requirements
- Educational background: High School or equivalent.
- Theological/canonical knowledge/experience: Some preferred.
- Tribunal experience: Prior preferred but not required.
- Skills: Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, strong writing, organizational, and critical thinking skills, ability and willingness to engage in collaborative ministry, pastoral concern and sensitivity toward those served by the Tribunal, computer literacy: Windows platform, MS Office, and FileMaker Pro, bilingual competency in Spanish preferred but not required.
