About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures that support the mission and vision of the Town of Pantego.
• Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract and hire qualified candidates.
• Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and training on employment law and best practices to staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, preferably in a governmental setting.
• Knowledge of labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to build strong relationships with employees and community members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning and implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
