Job Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors and provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer telephones and respond to client inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Obtain confidential client information and accurately enter data into computer systems in accordance with USDA WIC Program policies and procedures.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate client records.
  • File and maintain records in accordance with program and agency requirements.
  • Aid clients one-on-one by explaining program requirements and completing necessary documentation.
  • Collect, review, and process required paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
  • Utilize basic math skills to perform program-related calculations and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Maintain detailed filing and recordkeeping systems.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Provide courteous assistance to WIC participants by explaining program procedures and assisting with required forms and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma/GED and two (2) years of general office or administrative experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare or public health setting is preferred.
  • Experience providing customer service in a clinical environment is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
