Job Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer telephones and respond to client inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Obtain confidential client information and accurately enter data into computer systems in accordance with USDA WIC Program policies and procedures.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate client records.
- File and maintain records in accordance with program and agency requirements.
- Aid clients one-on-one by explaining program requirements and completing necessary documentation.
- Collect, review, and process required paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
- Utilize basic math skills to perform program-related calculations and ensure accurate data entry.
- Maintain detailed filing and recordkeeping systems.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Provide courteous assistance to WIC participants by explaining program procedures and assisting with required forms and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED and two (2) years of general office or administrative experience.
- Experience in a healthcare or public health setting is preferred.
- Experience providing customer service in a clinical environment is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
