About the role
This is a 3-6+ month contract position (leave coverage) for a customer-centric sales support specialist. The role is 100% remote and open to candidates in EST/CST locations only.
Responsibilities
- Assist sales teams with internal requests and daily operations, coordinating and communicating effectively with sales personnel and customers via phone and web conferencing to help achieve sales goals.
- Pull reports for opportunity and territory analysis.
- Provide updates on content and support interactions, run order processes, and assist with desk copies and resource support.
- Use clear, concise, and professional communication to establish and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Proactively problem-solve for customers.
- Provide limited coverage for open positions on the team to ensure territory success.
- Develop and follow through on daily plans to optimize sales potential.
- Identify and report trends that could generate content, fresh ideas, or business models.
- Escalate and lead reported customer technical issues, collaborating with sales and technical support to resolve them and provide updates.
- Update and maintain CRM (Salesforce) as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience with a successful track record; at least two years of sales, technical support, customer service, or related experience preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications; experience with digital products and additional applications is a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce preferred.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Pay
$20-24/hour (W2, rate dependent on experience).
