Admin Secretary- OR W&C- FT- 1st Shift
About the role
The Administrative Secretary supports the Women and Children’s Services Department, providing clerical support to the Director of the Women’s Service Line, the Director of the Children’s Service Line, and the Nurse Managers.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. An Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Experience: Three years of experience in a clerical/secretarial role, preferably in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong preference for formal training in software applications and proficiency in Microsoft Word, e-mail, maintaining schedules via computer, copier, fax machine, and miscellaneous audio-visual equipment.
- Additional Skills: Effective communication in person, phone, and writing, working knowledge of English grammar and basic math, typing speed of 35-50 words per minute.
