Overview
The Planning Admin provides administrative support to their assigned department, requiring a detailed understanding of Microsoft Office and effective communication skills. Depending on work volume, the Admin can handle various tasks from other departments.
Responsibilities
- Provides administration support for department.
- Coincide administrative activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and create SOPs, Training Checklists, and related documentation.
- Aid in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Safeguard administrative functions in a timely manner.
- Support other areas as needed.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Use independent judgment and be self-motivated.
- Candidate MUST be detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write, utilize a computer and Microsoft Office and Excell, conduct business-related mathematics and analyze data as required.
- Bring problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
- Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications

- This position works in an office setting within a warehouse, with limited outdoor exposure during the workday.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and copy machines.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
- Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
- Required to sit (stationary position) at a computer workstation and/or desk for a full shift.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
- Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience preferred.
- Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel.
