Overview

The Planning Admin provides administrative support to their assigned department, requiring a detailed understanding of Microsoft Office and effective communication skills. Depending on work volume, the Admin can handle various tasks from other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administration support for department.
  • Coincide administrative activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and create SOPs, Training Checklists, and related documentation.
  • Aid in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Safeguard administrative functions in a timely manner.
  • Support other areas as needed.
  • Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
  • Use independent judgment and be self-motivated.
  • Candidate MUST be detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, write, utilize a computer and Microsoft Office and Excell, conduct business-related mathematics and analyze data as required.
  • Bring problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
  • Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

  • This position works in an office setting within a warehouse, with limited outdoor exposure during the workday.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and copy machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
  • Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
  • Required to sit (stationary position) at a computer workstation and/or desk for a full shift.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
  • Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months previous experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel.
