Responsibilities

  • Assists in a variety of administrative support areas within the agency.
  • Works in multiple departments based on agency needs.
  • Performs duties to support daily operations.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and positive interpersonal relations.
  • Maintains and adjusts schedule to enhance program performance.
  • Manages multi-line phones and performs other tasks simultaneously.
  • Interacts in a friendly, professional manner with a wide range of patients, staff, and other departments.
  • Effectively communicates and educates about hospice services and end-of-life care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of phone skills, sales, or customer service background.
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Positive interpersonal relations and self-motivation.
  • Flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer experience helpful.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations and handle infectious diseases.
