As an Administrative Assistant, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office to maximize its positive impact on children's education.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in adherence to CSUSA and school Vision, Mission, and Values, demonstrating ethical behavior and promoting teamwork.
  • Complete assigned duties and projects, and participate in training programs to increase skill and proficiency.
  • Stay updated on developments and technical sources related to job responsibilities.
  • Adhere to company policies, federal and state laws, and safety procedures.
  • Consult with CSUSA personnel as needed.
  • Take and transcribe dictation for reports, correspondence, observation and evaluation reports, letters, memos, newsletters, and other documents.
  • Maintain the principal’s schedule, arrange meetings, conferences, interviews, and other activities.
  • Prepare evaluations, memos, newsletters, presentations, and other documents as directed by the Principal.
  • Coordinate assignments and work of substitute teachers.
  • Perform office routines such as sorting mail, operating copy machines, and serving as telephone receptionist.
  • Prepare, process, and oversee purchase orders.
  • Maintain and improve filing systems for easy document retrieval.
  • Manage records and correspondence, respond to information requests, and improve systems as needed.
  • Act as an information resource for other office personnel and communicate assigned duties as required.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple assignments with strong attention to detail and process-driven efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of office experience with diverse responsibilities.
  • Successful completion of criminal and employment background check.
  • Comfortable working in a team-based learning environment.
  • Bilingual ability may be required based on vacancy specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Student Information System (SIS), and email communications.
  • Commitment to company values.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
