This is a 4-year contract, 40-hour/week onsite position at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Candidates must be US citizens. This is a W2 role with Stage 4 Solutions, offering health benefits and a 401K.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and collect data concerning processes, administrative programs, or procedures from databases, manuals, policies, and other sources to prepare reports and respond to inquiries.
- Retrieve reports, numerical data, and status reports to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and propose solutions.
- Administer timely and accurate input of Congressionally mandated documentation for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP).
- Scan, upload, and maintain electronic records with high attention to detail to ensure data quality and compliance with established laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Advise staff on correcting or amending documents and electronic records.
- Document customer and programmatic information in the Air Force Family Integrated Reporting and Statistical Tracing system, DoDTAP, and TAPEvents.org.
- Document summaries of interactions with clients and community partners.
- Act as a point of contact for the assigned program to provide information to service members, installation leadership, and community partners.
- Prepare responses to technical and non-technical requests for information from members and installation leadership.
- Maintain professional partnerships with installation and community agencies.
- Sign customers up for TAP briefings, including Pre-Separation, 3-day Core Curriculum, and two-day tracks.
- Answer phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding members' progress and remaining requirements in accordance with laws, regulations, and policy.
- Maintain inventory of program materials, marketing items, computer equipment, and resource guides.
- Record and document attendance registration for all TAP workshops.
- Maintain and update monthly loss roster data of members required to complete TAP; notify members as required by laws, regulations, and policy.
- Ensure accurate collection, input, inventory, maintenance, and tracking of all forms within TAP.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in admin/clerical or data entry in a military setting.
- Skill in applying basic principles, concepts, and practices of the occupation to perform administrative tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate).
- Knowledge of administrative information management office practices, techniques, procedures, and military protocol guidelines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive, personal information.
- High attention to detail to advise staff on correctly amending electronically filed documents.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or 3+ years of experience in a military/government environment.
