ADM Part-Time Van Driver

ADM is seeks dynamic drivers to provide safe and efficient transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program. Hours: Monday through Friday 6:30-8:15a, 1:30-3:15p Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent A valid chauffeur's license to drive school van Ability to lift 50 lbs Completed required trainings before interacting with students Safety ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Compliant with all Federal and State laws and mandatory safety regulations for school busesChecks bus before each operation for mechanical defectsNotifies the transportation director in case of mechanical failure or latenessMaintains discipline on the bus and reports any undisciplined students to the proper authority.Enforces regulations against smoking and eating on the bus.Transports only authorized studentsDischarges students only at authorized stopsReports all accidents and completes required reportsCurrent on required trainings Operations And Communication Keeps to assigned bus route & scheduleKeeps assigned bus cleanReports to work for assigned schedulesCommunicates to the transportation director if late or absentPartners with transportation director when necessary to address parentsExercises responsible leadership when on out-of-district school tripsPerforms other duties as assigned REPORTS TO: Transportation Director EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated every 3 years by the transportation director ADM encourages all interested and qualified candidates to apply!
