About the role

Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites applications for the part‑time position of Adjunct Teaching Faculty in the Aerospace Engineering Department. The role involves teaching day and/or evening undergraduate and/or graduate courses (on‑campus or online) as needed, with start dates varying by course and term. Responsibilities

• Teach from an established course syllabus while adding personal expertise and experience
• Conduct office hours
• Grade course assessments
• Provide students with timely feedback
• Provide materials used in course evaluations

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Prior experience as an instructor or teaching assistant at the college‑level (required)
• Relevant industry experience is valued
• Ability to identify which specific Aerospace Engineering courses best match the applicant’s expertise
