Adjunct Sociology Instructor

About the role

Lincoln Land Community College seeks part-time instructors to teach face-to-face Sociology classes at their main campus in Springfield and various locations including Taylorville, Litchfield, Jacksonville, and Beardstown.

Responsibilities

• Teach Sociology classes in person at multiple campuses
• Receive one paid absence per class, per semester
• Gain free access to the LLCC Fitness Center (during available hours)
• Eligible for a travel stipend if commuting more than twenty miles to campus
• Benefit from a tuition waiver for adjunct faculty and their dependents under the age of 22
• Participate in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) upon qualifying assignments

Qualifications

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Sociology or a related field and teaching experience at the college level.
