Adjunct (Social Work)

ASU is developing a pool of potential adjuncts. Any position available through this posting is a temporary appointment to teach courses in the Social Work & Sociology department, which also determines the number and types of courses.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of syllabus and course materials
• Delivery of lectures and/or labs
• Grading and assignment of grades

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited program
• At least two years post-graduate work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior college-level teaching experience

Skills

• Knowledge sufficient to teach the course(s) and/or lab(s)
• Ability to prepare materials and deliver effective classroom presentations
