Adjunct PT - Biology

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create courses aligned with learning outcomes and encourage student active participation.
• Foster a learning environment that promotes intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• Use various assessments to evaluate student progress and ensure they meet course objectives.
• Support students in achieving their academic, personal, and career goals while maintaining a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
• Show leadership within academic and professional communities and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Comply with City Colleges of Chicago's code of ethics and policies.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or higher in a life sciences field (e.g., Animal Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, etc.).
• Experience with Blackboard Learning Management System is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience working with a diverse, multilingual student population is desirable.
