Adjunct Professor - Philosophy

About the role

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking campus-based adjunct instructors to teach Philosophy courses. We are a career-focused, private, nonprofit college that offers real-world education leading to bachelor's, associate's, and professional certificates in fields such as healthcare, technology, legal, business, graphic design, and more.

Responsibilities

• Teach Philosophy courses on campus
• Develop and maintain course materials
• Attend faculty meetings and departmental activities
• Maintain student records and communicate with students
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Philosophy or a closely related field
• Experience teaching Philosophy at the college level
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Adjunct instructors may be scheduled to teach one or two courses per semester, depending on class demand and instructor availability.
