Adjunct professor of English

MSSU is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach English composition beginning this fall. The ideal candidate must have a Master’s degree in the discipline area, with a PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach English composition courses on MSSU’s campus
• Develop and maintain course materials
• Participate in departmental meetings and committee work
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles

Requirements

• Master’s degree in English composition or related field
• PhD preferred
• Experience teaching English composition at the college level
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
