Adjunct Professor – Humanities
Job Responsibilities
Midsdels Technical College is a public, multi-campus college that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. As an Adjunct Professor in the Humanities Department, you will teach courses in your area of expertise, such as Art, French, History, Music, Philosophy, Religion, Spanish, Speech, or Theatre. You may be asked to teach at multiple campuses and off-campus sites, including high schools, or in online formats.
- Conduct appropriate learning activities
- Maintain effective instructional management
- Participate in all required trainings, meetings, progress reports, and Student Learning Outcomes assessments
Requirements
Master of Arts in discipline (ART, FRE, HIS, MUS, PHI, REL, SPA, SPC, or THE); or Master of Arts plus 18 graduate hours in a needed field.
Past experience in teaching introductory-level college courses is preferred.
Benefits
The standard adjunct pay rate is $2914 per three-credit-hour course. Final compensation may vary depending on academic credentials and total course credit hours.
