Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities
- Responsible for the instruction, supervision and evaluation of students in the classroom and/or laboratory setting.
- Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum, course outlines and class schedules.
- Create and maintain an environment which emphasizes learning, encourages free discussion of ideas and critical thinking.
- Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.
- Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
Education/Training Requirements
- Masters in nutrition, dietetics, dietetics and food administration or related field and certification as a registered dietitian nutritionist OR Doctoral degree in nutrition, dietetics, dietetics and food administration, public health, leadership or related field
Pay
$1,000-$1,350 per credit
