Job Responsibilities
The EMS Adjunct Professor plays a crucial role in training and education future EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and/or Paramedics. You will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, facilitating simulations, and skills training. This position may assist across all EMS training levels.
- Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Ensure students understand and adhere to best practices and patient safety.
- Collaborate with other EMS faculty to develop, update, or enhance course materials and curriculum to align with industry standards and best practices.
- Aid in high-fidelity simulations.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- SC certified EMT, National Registered EMT.
- Three (3) years of experience in prehospital healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications
- SC certified paramedic.
- NREMT Paramedic.
- Prior EMS instructional experience.
- Associates degree.
