Adjunct Professor - Early Childhood and Education

Responsibilities

• Teach course(s) within the Early Childhood Development and/or Education Transfer Programs at Dual Enrollment High Schools during school hours (typically 8 am - 2 pm).
• Comply with all MTC policies and procedures.

Courses and instructors are under the purview of MTC and the supervision of the MTC Dean of Education and Public Service, as well as the Early Childhood Education Program Director.

Requirements

• Earned at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a closely related field.
• Classroom teaching experience with PreK - 12th grade.
• Available to teach during normal high school hours (generally 8 am - 2 pm) at various locations in Richland, Lexington, or Fairfield counties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching college students.
• Experience using the D2L Brightspace LMS.

Schedule

Typically 8 am - 2 pm, Monday through Friday.
