Adjunct Nursing Faculty - Med/Surg Specialty

We are seeking additional Adjunct Faculty for the Fall Semester, with clinical experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, and/or Emergency Medicine. Responsibilities

• Teach and evaluate students in a clinical setting; lab/simulation and/or didactic opportunities may be available on occasion.
• Create an engaging learning environment that supports academic progression and professional socialization.
• Assess student learning, provide timely feedback, and support remediation of at-risk students.
• Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on curriculum delivery, student success plans, and program evaluation.
• Maintain accurate student and clinical documentation and comply with FERPA and college policies.
• Communicate professionally with students, faculty, and clinical partners.
• Attend required orientations, faculty meetings, and clinical site briefings.
• Coach students on leadership, ethics, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Connect students with campus resources to support success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s- and/or doctorate-level nursing degree.
• 3+ years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience.
• Flexibility to teach clinicals required; flexibility to teach labs and/or didactic courses in other areas of the nursing curriculum is strongly preferred.

Pay

$65.00 per hour for adjunct positions. Competitive salary for full-time roles.
